Gratitude & Thanksgiving
Updated: Apr 18, 2018
I have been thinking a lot about Thanksgiving and gratitude lately. One of my messages to clients is to really love what you have and that a gift is no longer giving to you if it brings stress or guilt. Having recently moved I have been acutely aware of my belongings and what speaks to me. What struck me last week as I looked around my new abode was gratitude. Sheer, awe-inspiring gratitude. Friends and family knew I was starting over, two of them moving themselves, and passed along item upon item that I would need to set up my home. As I look around at each room I am filled to the brim with love and joy. I am literally living within a gift! Living in the gift of friendship and love. Living amongst items that I purchased out of love, that were given in love and that speak to me. The spirit behind those gifts has filled me with such gratitude and thanksgiving and I wish that for all of you as well.
